I am very delighted to share that Aspen Technology has officially been awarded ISO 9001:2015 Certification for the delivery of software systems, which includes product planning, program management, implementation, testing, support, and maintenance.

Being recognized with this quality management standard provides customers, especially those in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, assurance that AspenTech has a defined framework of policies, processes and procedures that support our values and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

The ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an independent, non-governmental, international organization that develops the quality, safety and efficiency of products, services and systems. ISO 9001 Certification is the world’s most used standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS). This certification demonstrates our commitment to providing high quality and best-in-class products to customers through our effective QMS.

The standard is based on seven quality management principles: customer focus, leadership, engagement of people, process approach, improvement, evidence-based decision making, and relationship management.

Through a lot of hard work, long hours, dedication and perseverance the team was recommended by the certification body to receive the ISO 9001 Certificate – almost four months ahead of our original plan.
