NMP is a hazardous chemical facing increasing global regulations restricting its use.  Researchers at PPG have developed a drop in binder - solvent system with more benign solvent that also offers performance advantages in terms of battery performance and solvent use.

Unlike the oil and gas industry, process intensification in the oleochemicals industries is rarely studied. We seek to remedy the loopholes found in oleochemicals by rectifying the deficiencies in providing exciting opportunities to the industry's key players.
