Eric is the DERMS Product Manager at AspenTech. Eric has a Ph.D. in power systems engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle and has authored or coauthored dozens of technical papers on DER management and integration. He also is the inventor on three issued patents related to EV charging management. Eric has spent his entire professional career, over 10 years, working on DER integration and DERMS where he has earned the nickname 'Dr. DERMS'. He currently leads the technical roadmap and implementation of the DERMS product.
